BK298

BK298 are a Birmingham-based production and DJ duo whose sound is rooted in the rich heritage of UK Garage, Speed Garage, Jungle and Drum & Bass. Drawing inspiration from the energy of classic UK rave culture while embracing modern production techniques, they have developed a distinctive style that combines heavyweight basslines, infectious grooves and contemporary dancefloor production.

Over recent years, BK298 have built an increasingly impressive catalogue of original productions and official remixes, earning releases across respected independent dance labels including LW Recordings, PointBlank Records, Crime Scene Chemistry, Lush Records UK, Voltaire Music and Sleazy Deep. Their remix credits include reworks for artists such as DJ Luck & MC Neat, Sandy B, Gabriella, Byron Stingily, Mary Kiani and Jeremy Sylvester’s legendary Strickly Dubz project, reflecting both their versatility and deep appreciation of UK dance music heritage.

Whether producing fresh original material or reinventing established classics, BK298 bring a modern, club-focused approach that remains firmly connected to the foundations of UK Garage. Their productions combine punchy low-end, crisp percussion and uplifting vocal arrangements, resulting in remixes that work equally well in underground club settings and contemporary commercial dance environments.

Their blend of technical production, respect for classic UK sounds and forward-thinking approach makes them an excellent choice for artists and labels looking to inject authentic garage energy into modern remix projects.
